His family professes Islam and also respects a regime of self-isolation. Now, with the advent of Ramadan, it is very important for them to receive lunch boxes with food under the project "Charity Iftar with home delivery" as part of the campaign "Road of Life".

Foundation volunteers deliver lunch boxes with hot food to those in need every day. These are people with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, deaf, blind, lonely pensioners. Among those who are delivered lunch boxes with free lunches, there are many large families, which are the most difficult in self-isolation mode.

Today, on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims, iftar for 2 thousand needy residents of the city was organized in the Kazan “Yardem” mosque. Due to the difficult epidemiological situation, due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, iftar is carried out remotely. Hot lunches prepared in the mosque’s kitchen and packed in special lunch boxes, 70 volunteers delivered to Kazan believers and those in need at home.

The “Yardem” National Islamic Charitable Foundation, which was famous for the most massive iftar, does not refuse to hold them, but this year they will be remote. Ready-made food will be delivered to the addresses of everyone, those who need it.

The deputy mufti of the Saratov region, Rasim Kuzyakhmetov, who always highly appreciates the activities of the “Yardem” national Islamic charitable foundation, this time calls for participation in the campaign of the Road of Life fund, during which people in need receive free hot food.

“Yardem” met his thirteenth anniversary of the NICF, realizing the charity event “Road of Life”. This year, charity is of particular importance, because of the events caused by the spread of coronavirus, the most socially unprotected sections of the population were hit, the crisis put many people, even those who had not experienced difficulties, in an extremely difficult situation.
